Health - Children's Health
Our children are our future. They depend on us for pretty much everything: healthy growth, solid education, good self esteem, and, of course, 'love.' As they grow they too learn to make choices in their world. The health choices they make will affect them for the rest of their lives.
I hope to provide you with tools to:
- Identify products that are healthy and beneficial for child development
- Teach your children what is good food and why it is good for them
- Learn about food allergies your children may have and how to identify them
- Find alternative choices for managing ADD, ADHA and more
- Understand how diet affects all aspects of health from growth to mental acuity to disease prevention
Give your children all the educated care possible to enable them to live strong, healthy, fantastic lives!

"All camps agree that the very best way to strong bones is to build them well to begin with. Nearly 90% of bone mass in females is built by age 18, yet few adolescent girls are getting the recommended amounts of calcium and vitamin D."

Drs. David and Catherine Katz have been kind enough to allow me to present their Nutrition Detective slide show on my website. Here is what they say about it:

Nutrition Detectives is an exciting nutrition education program for elementary school children that is "Teaching Kids to Make Healthy Choices." They learn how to read food labels, detect marketing deceptions while simultaneously learning to identify and subsequently choose healthy foods. The program has been taught in schools throughout the country and data are currently being collected in Independence Missouri... The program is novel, creative, engaging, and efficient, imparting crucial information in minimal time.
